If I have difficulty sleeping, I like to close my eyes and visualise images like this. As I concentrate on the colours changing in hue and intensity it is not long before I am sleeping soundly.

The basis of this image was a sunset photograph of the sun taken from the top of Burrington Coombe in the Mendip Hills. This was digitally solarised to give the radiation effect. Colours were manipulated and the result combined with a duo-tone image of the Lanzarote National Park of Timanfaya. A 30" x 40" canvas hangs in my dining room.

I found this painted wooden pallet washed up on the seashore near Clevedon, North Somerset.

I spotted the tracks left by the Lifeguard's quad bikes whilst walking on the dunes near Gwithian in Cornwall. Changing the hue of the sand to red gave me this image and made me think of Mars.
